I try all 3 Starbucks Oleato coffee drinks with added olive oil, review

Next I tried an iced espresso, served in a enormous plastic cup with a paper straw.

Starbucks barista serves Oleato iced, shaken espresso

The tastiest was the iced, shaken Oleato espresso.

Phoebe Hunt

The chilled drink included a teaspoon of olive oil, like a caffe latte, as well as a tasty nut syrup. Instead of boiling the olive oil with the oat milk, the barista blended it on high speed, then stirred it into the coffee and nut syrup over ice cubes.

Although our barista served the drink with a straw, he recommended trying it without it first to fully experience the olive oil foam.

The drink, which cost €5.50, was delicious. The olive oil flavour was still very mighty, but the hazelnut syrup also gave the drink a subtle sweetness.

For Starbucks customers accustomed to drinking Italian coffee, the iced espresso shake is likely a better choice than the caffè latte, as it is more unique. The hazelnut syrup will certainly make it popular with those with a sweet tooth.
