Drinking more coffee could facilitate you lose weight, up-to-date study reveals

Reaching for the first cup of coffee in the morning and at certain breaks during the day is an integral part of the daily routine of many people. Most people do not stop at one cup of coffee. According to Statista Consumer Insights SurveyCoffee lovers in the U.S. typically don’t stop at one cup. About 80% of the country enjoys two or more cups of coffee at home during the week.

Coffee not only boosts energy and focus, but the antioxidant-rich stimulant may also be beneficial for dieters, according to a up-to-date study. Can eating oatmeal facilitate you lose weight?

Results:

The good news is that Increasing coffee consumption to one additional cup of unsweetened coffee per day is associated with weight loss (around just under 0.3 pounds) over a four-year period. But be careful, because drinking coffee with one teaspoon of sugar added resulted in weight gain over those four years.

Basically, if you change your routine to drinking sugar-free coffee — and enhance the amount of it — you could be doing yourself a favor and boosting your weight loss efforts. Adding creamer or coffee bleach to a cup of coffee doesn’t seem to cause weight gain, studies show. But if you like sugar in your coffee, you may want to change the order ASAP.
