Move, Pantone, there is a novel color of the year in the city. While the standardizing color system is trying to tell us that 2025 is a year of the dusty ass Mocha foam (Although honestly, as they were supposed to follow Peach Fuzz) there are others, fortunately, who have better ideas. One of them is Mock -up. The manufacturer of the Dutch coffee brewer, a real style, presented his own look at the color of the year and it is much better. We present the novel KBGV MOCAMASTER in the Ocean.
What color. What a brewery. Officially published on March 1, Moccamaster in 2025 offers a luxurious blue-green color for the most recognizable automatic brewing silhouette. They describe the color as representing “peace and stability” and that “serene and cheerful blue color reflects the latest trends in kitchen aesthetics.” And of course it is supported by high quality, approved coffee brewing, which is the actual reason why Moccamaster is so beloved.
The Color of the Year program began last year, with a circumscribed edition of the apricot brewery (which looks very peach for me when these titans still agreed). This year they go a bit more boldly with the ocean. Which is honestly good. The color market required a bit more competition, because Pantone clearly slept behind the wheel this year. Mocha Musse?! Do you throw some purple at some brown and what, I expect it to fall about himself? It’s not like it even hides coffee stains, which are a completely different shade of brown. But you know what would create mighty colors with a coffee or two stain? Ocean. It’s a form and a function.
The novel Moccamaster KBGV chooses in the ocean sold for 359 USD and is available for purchase only via the Moccamaster and Williams Sonoma website. For more information, visit Moccamaster’s Official website.
