Better Buzz Coffee Roasters Expect Record Growth in 2024

The California-born brand plans to rapidly expand into the Western United States by the end of the year

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters Expect Record Growth in 2024San Diego, California (Restaurant press release) Better Coffee Roasters Buzz kicked off 2024 with plenty of novel restaurants and successful limited-time offers, but the popular coffee brand is just getting started. Over the past two years, Better Buzz has doubled its store count from 12 to 24, and next year it plans to double that number to 48. The company is looking east toward Arizona and Nevada, and is also opening additional locations in Southern California.

During the first half of this year, Better Buzz opened three novel locations: one in the Laguna Hills area of Orange County, its 19th San Diego location in Oceanside and its first out-of-state location in Uptown Phoenix. While all three novel properties are off to a promising start, the Phoenix location boasts the brand’s most successful opening day ever.

Looking ahead, Better Buzz is on track for a record year, with 12 novel locations in the works – including three in Las Vegas – with the first of those opening in September. The company also plans to launch six more locations in Phoenix, a third location in Orange County and two more in San Diego.

“While we are thrilled with our progress to date, we are even more excited about our rapid growth throughout the rest of the year,” said Vice President of Marketing Amanda Cameron. “We plan to keep the momentum of the event going by spreading the buzz to even more neighborhoods. Our goal is to expand north into Southern California, with a focus on the Los Angeles to San Diego area, as well as expand into Arizona and Nevada to make our famed Best Drink Ever more accessible.”

With rapid growth, three limited-time menu items were introduced in January: Chili Crunch Breakfast Wrap, Iced London Fog and Sea Salt Caramel Latte. The wrap quickly became one of the best-selling items on the Better Buzz menu and was eventually added to the core menu. The brand’s limited-time offerings for spring and summer include Mazapán Frigid Brew, Espresso No-Tini, Piquant BBQ Ranch Chicken Wrap and – just announced – Buzz Energy drinks.

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters started as a four-wheeled coffee cart and has become a popular brand with 24 locations in California and Arizona. The recent expansion into the Grand Canyon area highlights the company’s strategy to enter novel markets while maintaining its core values of quality and innovation.
