Until recently, AeroPress had remained largely unchanged since its inception in 2005. The lineup began to expand in 2019 with the miniature AeroPress Go. It’s only been in the last few years that things have really started to pick up. In 2023, the AeroPress XL and AeroPress Clear models arrived, in 2024 the Go Plus (and a recent pink color scheme and the borosilicate AeroPress Premium), and last year there was the Clear XL and an elegantly designed hand grinder.
Here in 2026, the company shows no signs of slowing down with the newest brewery in its lineup, i.e AeroPress steel.
Announced today, February 25volAeroPress Steel is designed to provide thermal stability to the iconic brewing device. The recent AeroPress, made of 304 stainless steel, is “professional-grade, double-walled and vacuum insulated” for improved heat retention during brewing, the press release stated, “[gives] Coffee lovers have even more control over their brew.”
Available in two colors, stainless steel (silver) and black stainless steel, the AeroPress Steel offers 20% more capacity than the standard AeroPress, up to 12 ounces compared to the conventional 10 ounces.
“Our recent AeroPress Steel 3-in-1 brewer showcases the design and engineering capabilities of AeroPress,” states AeroPress CEO Gerard Meyer. “We challenge the assumption that compact manual espresso machines have to sacrifice high-quality materials, durability and ease of operate. AeroPress Steel combines all three – built for life on the go, with the confidence and feel of a truly advanced travel brewer.”
The all-new AeroPress Steel can currently be purchased on the AeroPress website for $169.95.
