According to WalletHub, San Francisco is the best coffee city in America.
The personal finance website considered 12 factors to determine which major U.S. city could secure the top spot.
The 12 factors were converted into points – they were given from 7.14 to 14.29 points – for a total of 100 points. San Francisco received 63.53 points out of 100.
WalletHub’s study took into account factors such as the average price of coffee and cappuccino in a city, the number of coffee shops and donut shops, and the number of coffee-themed events such as coffee festivals.
Other California cities also made the list.
Sacramento placed ninth, scoring 56.73 points, San Diego placed 13th, scoring 55.07 points, and Long Beach placed 14th, scoring 54.78 points.
Los Angeles fell behind Chicago and finished 16th, scoring 53.23 points.
