Cocinare’s Balance Pro aims to be more than just a coffee scale

We’ve reached the point where we’re too good at coffee and are trying to come up with modern features to add to the precision scale. Ultra-fast response time, reading down to one tenth of a gram and a timer are probably all that (although I apply this term very loosely) you don’t need to make coffee. But the heart wants what it wants, and often the coffee heart wants modern gadgets. With modern features. Yes Sir Balance Pro. Recent precision scale acc I will cook it comes with a lot of modern features that you probably don’t need, but might really want. And that’s it live now on Kickstarter.

Standard features include real-time weight tracking, measurements correct to 0.05 grams, and a timer, all the essentials for brewing. It also supports apps, which some people consider a necessity.

But with other features, the Balance Pro takes on the challenging task of encouraging users to make the scale more useful in their home brewing setup. It all starts with the ability to recognize the dripper being used and automatically tare its weight. It also has the ability to recognize the weight of coffee added to the brewer and calculate the total amount of water needed to achieve the desired ratio. Balance Pro lets you select your total number of pours, then displays real-time reminders to aid you manage your flow rate.

At retail, the Balance Pro is competitively priced (often cheaper) than other precision scales on the market at $149. However, thanks to the Kickstarter campaign, which has already reached its goal, the price is dropping significantly. Current rewards include Balance Pro for $75, 50% off MSRP. Deliveries are scheduled to start in March 2026.

Before purchasing Balance Pro, you need to ask yourself two questions. First of all, do you really have a modern scale? And secondly, what does need have to do with anything? For more information or to support the campaign, visit Balance Pro by Cocinare Kickstarter page.
