Forgive us with your modest Splge editors, for one of our changes in our hearts. Yesterday we said loudly that it was the last day of the construction season in 2025. But then, well, a very nice recent cafe appeared just under the wire and we could not resist the opportunity to share the last wonderful construction before he called it a good year. And so-in what we are quite sure, it is really and really *the last construction of the 2025 season-give an eye Slow rush At Youngstown, Ohio.
For those who are not familiar, will you tell us about your company?
Leisurely rush is currently a wandering Bar Espresso serving unique coffee and tea near Youngstown, Ohio. Kayleigh Bordolussi, led by the owner and a long -time barista, Leisurely Hurce serves a local menu with emphasis on quality and consistency over the last three years. Coffee is always the subject of our menu, even in our miniature mobile operation. Years later, on the way, sluggish rush is to open a micro cafe in cooperation with another local business, Stylogian garden. Our combined vision is to create a concentrated space around a real connection of man and cooperation of the community.
Can you tell us about a recent space?
Our recent space in cooperation with Stylacharten will be a low key key. Our goal is not a lively cafe, but rather a laid back space that is comfortable, sitting and talking, or listening to music with us, or just spend time for a few minutes and I’m enjoying a drink. We encourage people to bring the album to throw (we all love music and find recent music) and they hung for a moment. The second part of the space is a fixed hairdresser’s studio called StylaGarten. We share similar values as companies and as people, thanks to which the combination of two different companies seem straightforward and natural to us. For Stylacharten, the partnership is a step towards restoring the “good venerable days” of the hairdresser, in which the store was the center of a community in which people from the area and friends gathered to share part of their day together. By bringing coffee into space, it makes this vision even sweeter and will allow us to create a relaxed social environment in which everyone is welcome.
What is your coffee approach?
Free rush is managed by a barista with over 12 years of experience in many different styles of cafes and cafes. After he did not feel fulfilled in the manner of serving coffee in these different places, and I arrived until the end of the road, managing a handful of local cafes for eight years, sluggish rush was created as just selling for coffee as I wanted. Not only that, but to educate people about coffee and show them recent ways to apply coffee than they can be accustomed. We maintain our basic Hyper Local menu, using local coffee and consumables couples, local bakeries to delicacies and local artists to cooperate with goods and design. Our menu itself focuses on customary coffee drinks, but with up-to-date amenities. Our size of balmy drinks is customary, but we also like to give people what they want to offer larger frozen drinks. We apply plain prices: one price no matter what milk you choose. We discovered that people like to think less about their order and have the right to enjoy latte.
For us, it is essential to navigate the menu with several options. We do not offer frigid foam or do super sweet drinks, because we want you to try coffee, which many people have worked very challenging for a long time so that you can enjoy. We take less approach. We offer seasonal drinks that are unique and entertaining, such as our characteristic Blood + Honey Espresso tonic, but we also offer seasonal classics such as House pumpkin. We believe that our work as a barista is to present coffee in the best possible form to give respect to everyone who brought coffee to your cup. We make coffee for your pleasure.
Any machines, coffee, special equipment set up?
In the case of a recent space, we add another machine to our arsenal, a non -standard painted single Slayer steam group in combination with our tried and real Mahlkönig k30 air grinder. We keep our current machine, work horse Mini mini marzocco In the case of our gastronomic events and services, but combining it with a recent (more mobile grinder), and Mazzer major. We will also add a rotating Roasters selection to our Pour hand menu, while maintaining our basic partnership Branch Street Coffee Roasters Introduced for our home options espresso and coffee. Our goal is to offer and emphasize various coating methods, as well as accessible and quick options brewed on ours Aiden brewer. We have been using Aiden for six months in our current configuration and we love it for operations of our size.
How does your project consider sustainable development?
Leisurely rush from the first day always sets a sustainable development at the forefront of what we do. We try to order as much as possible from the Internet, getting as much resources as possible locally. When we have to venture online, we choose companies that divide our values, such as Tossware for our frozen cups and biodegradable agave straws because of their ecological aspect, as well as their durability (we do not want paper straws to become soften before you finish the drink). We also always choose recycled paper as soon as possible. In addition to the decision on sustainable operational development, I saved or bought the other hand of all ceramic cups, we ran a saved line of hand -printed shirts. We apply such places with our current compilation Construction connection In Pittsburgh, Pa for things such as recovered cabinets and building materials for our bar, as well as clogged furniture. For me, it is essential to show people that you do not have to buy everything that is the “highest line” or fashionable brands to create a place where people like to come and avoid adding landfills as possible.
What is your hope for the opening date/month?
We are on the right way to open in October this year.
Do you work with craftsmen, architects and/or creators you would like to mention?
Yes! Kara and Quinn from Branch Street Coffee Roasters, Spirit Tea Co. to our amazing tea menu, Matt z Call coffee equipment (AND Technical network of service layer) For maintaining my well -beloved equipment in the best form and revive my custom machine dreams, and Kiernan with Stylacharten are the key to the sluggish success of How Hurce and future success.
Thank you!
Thank you very much for sluggish rush and hearing about our recent social project from Stylacharten.
