The idea for the book arose when founder Regan Caton encountered Jim Lively’s “The Second Cup of Coffee” while working for a global online art gallery. This moment led to an international open call that Caton curated and guest curated, bringing together a lively collection that explores coffee as ritual, culture, mood and inventive muse.

The book presents works of art made in oil, acrylic, collage, photography, mixed media and works created using coffee itself. Each artist shares the inspiration behind the featured work, along with a miniature biography and coffee order – details that connect their inventive work to everyday coffee culture. The minimalist, contemporary visuals – developed by a team with roots in the Fresh York agency Ogilvy – give the book a polished, editorial finish.

The perfect gift for coffee lovers, art enthusiasts and design readers, the Coffee Table Art Book offers a sultry, immersive experience of global coffee culture. The book costs $59 and is available exclusively at: www.coffeetableartbook.com

Cafes interested in offering the book to their customers in 2026 can get in touch via the website or contact Regan directly at Regan@coffeetableartbook.com.
