“Specialty coffee education is commercially available, but often for a fee or left to the employer to provide. For compact businesses such as those engaged in specialty coffee, creating a training program from scratch is time-consuming and high-priced,” reads the press release. “Owners and trainers are often forced to prioritize skills training, leaving a gap in the knowledge training they would like to provide. Novel coffee professionals looking to build a career and deepen their knowledge of the industry have few places to turn and may feel they have reached a knowledge plateau. ED+U exists to fill these gaps and raise ceilings.”
Access to ED+U is completely free and pre-registration currently opens before April 10vol publication of the entire curriculum. Records that can be made Herealso gives users access to future live webinars, Q&As, interviews, and any additional activities that will be added to the series.
