It’s your last day to be nominated for the 17th annual Sprudgie Awards

We’ve reached the final day of open nominations for the Pacific Barista Series’ 17th Annual Sprudgie Awards. Nominations are still open in all categories, but not for long – nominations will close tonight at midnight PST, Friday, December 5.

The annual coffee industry awards include Outstanding Roaster, Outstanding Coffee Producer, Best Recent Product, Best Recent Cafe, Outstanding Cafe Sustainability Award, Outstanding Coffee Event and Outstanding Achievement. The Sprudgies also include our annual media awards, which honor best film or film about coffee, best text about coffee, best book or magazine about coffee, best social media and best podcast about coffee.

We are content to announce a novel category this year –Renowned Coffee Influencer –we celebrate those whose voice, creativity and commitment have significantly shaped coffee culture in digital space. We created this novel category to further highlight the significant role that digital influencers play in the international coffee space, and to enable the ‘Best Social Media’ category to highlight the equally significant digital storytelling led by brands, coffee companies, non-profits and organizations across the social media sector.

We are proud to cooperate Pacific Barista series to present you with the 17th Sprudgie Awards and the whole process is like that Free admission AND open to everyone. There are no fees to submit a nomination and no membership required to vote, all thanks to the ongoing support of the community Pacific Barista series, whose fundamental support for this initiative makes our annual work possible.

Recruitment for this year’s edition has started! Once the open nomination process is complete, we will determine the final list of finalists and make it available for public voting again. Open nominations close on Friday, December 5 at 11:59 PM PST. Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, December 10.
