The latest Tiktok coffee trend is strange, but good

Tiktok teens are again with another viral coffee trend. They call it “cloud coffee” (Although it is not completely clear why) and it is a “tropical” twist of action on the frozen Americano. What is the tropical twist of action, you ask, results from the substance of ordinary water for coconut water and adding floating milk without milk.

There are claims about additional health benefits from additional electrolytes and other nutrients in coconut water, but the real question is: is this good? So as an elderly millennium, who is better than me to be an arbiter of what is good and proper (or bad and bad) from Gen Z. and let me say cloud coffee? Not bad.

In the past, I tested several of these tiktok coffee drinks – in particular the juice of orange juice and watermelon and frozen coffee – at surprisingly tasty ends, but I had reservations about cloud coffee. For example, would the addition of coconut water add unpleasant drink viscosity? What is the Alt milk about? Americanos are mostly water, so adding milk to it seems soup and strange.

There was not much a recipe that should be used, how to make coffee in the cloud. Or maybe he is and I’m a bad thicket that he can say. But this released me to do a little, which I would call significant drink improvements.

First of all, I tried to create a heated version of coffee in the cloud. My reasoning here is that Heated Americanos, which we simply call Americanos, are much better than ICED Americanos, so if we intend to riff at a drink, we might as well start with his acme. But it was a disaster. Heated coconut water is strange, just like the summer mixture of espresso and cool coconut water. Just a lot of unpleasantness around and, to be forthright, a terrible beginning of coffee in the cloud. If you want, you can check my work, but you advise you to move it.

So it was a cool Americano to save the day. And would you not know about it, it was damn good. The art here, as in the case of all good American ones, is to keep them in tiny ones. Too much coconut water and that’s all you really like. The drink of six ounces is a sweet point. And a lot of ice, tiny ice if you have it.

Now let’s talk about milk. Get rid of it. Some films had people who whipped espresso milk before pouring coconut water, but to be forthright, it doesn’t bring much drink. Sure, adds creamy, but at the expense of weight. Coconut water already gives a surprisingly nice accent, and if the climate here should be tropical, well, Milk was a bad choice. Instead, try to squeeze the lime. It is delicate, there is a castle and to be forthright it just makes sense.

Unlike everyone on Tiktok, I don’t leave you high and desiccated without a recipe. If you want to make coffee at home for yourself, that’s what you need:

  1. Standard double espresso (20 GW up to 40 g)
  2. A bottle of coconut water, preferably newborn coconut water (the one that is pink). Other things are too sweet and artificial tasting. The brand of harmless collections is a good option and is quite effortless to find.
  3. Lime wedge
  4. Ball
  5. The smaller, the better

The recipe is as follows:

  1. Fill the Highball on the Mount Ice
  2. Add coconut water, leaving enough space for espresso
  3. Espresso swim on coconut water
  4. Decorate with a lime wedge and enjoy the cascade effect when espresso mixes with coconut water.
  5. Place it on a gram (optional)
  6. Squeeze the lime clin and mix
  7. Enjoy!
