There will be plenty of coffee events happening this weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? Maybe something related to coffee? Well, will you ever be in luck, because this weekend’s coffee event calendar is packed with celebrations from all over the world and right where you are. That’s why we’re taking a look at the Sprudge Coffee Events Calendar to bring you some fun events this weekend to get your caffeine fix.

Perhaps the biggest event taking place this weekend will be Coffee Fest in Minneapolis. The final event in the series for 2024, Coffee Fest Minneapolis, comes to the Minneapolis Convention Center on October 11 and 12 for two days full of fresh products, learning and networking opportunities. And one weekend is not enough coffee attractions for you, Mill City Roasters is organizing an inaugural party on Thursday, October 10. There will be food, there will be drinks, there will be prizes. Just make sure Answer. It’s free!

Continuing his zeal for learning, the Specialty Coffee Association Educators Summit comes to Houston on Saturday. Designed with the coffee instructor in mind, the event will “provide you with the tools, knowledge and connections you need to succeed.”

Or maybe art is your passion. If so, the “The Art of Espresso” exhibition may be a hit. The exhibition, currently on view through February at the Museo De Café in Sao Paulo, Brazil, celebrates Italian espresso in the machines and tableware that made it possible.

Pittsburgh Coffee Week 1

Sunday also marks the start of Pittsburgh Coffee Week, “an annual series of coffee-themed community events organized by coffee shops, roasteries and organizations affiliated with the coffee industry in Pittsburgh.” There are too many celebrations to list, so check out the link to find out what’s happening across the Steel City.

But what if you don’t live in Minneapolis, Houston, Sao Paulo or Pittsburgh? Then grab your bike and take part in International Coffee Day outdoors. Organized by Ride with GPS, bike meets take place on weekends around the world where you can ride bikes, “hand-make coffee, enjoy snacks and meet friends outdoors.” And if there isn’t one in your area, you can create one!

It’s going to be a full weekend, and this is just the beginning. Keep an eye out for more events this month in Albuquerque, Chicago, and even cyberspace!
