Two weeks ago, we asked for your true stories of customers asking for espresso drinks with mother’s milk. It all began with a story about a client who is trying to save money on frozen latte, introducing his own oat milk. This It got out of control quite quickly And they transformed into people sharing stories about clients for drinks for drinks related to mother’s milk. The number of responses we received was honestly disturbing. Although not enough to raise the level of daily occurrence, it seems that people are comfortable to submit such a request. And it happens all over the country. We received answers from the entire United States, including many instances from Seattle and Santa Cruz, which is quite strange (but also not shocking).

We rounded some of the following answers to better explain who and why in the case of latte mother’s milk. (Spoiler alert: it’s a terrifying dad and hippie mother.)

He was a witness as a client, not a barista, in 2018 at a cafe in Santa Cruz, California. While I was waiting in the queue, I noticed that the lady was holding a compact jar filled with something. When he approaches the counter to place an order, he places a jar on the counter and asks a barista to make her latte with fresh mother’s milk. Behind the bar was a discussion as if it could be an option. Fortunately, the store refused.
