September is almost here, and we’re hurtling toward fall. Even as cooler weather is inevitable, Build-Outs of Coffee, our annual summer series showcasing up-to-date coffee shops around the world, is coming to a close. But we want to end it robust. That’s why we’re announcing our final call for entries for Build-Outs of Coffee 2024. If you have a coffee shop you’d like to feature this year, you have until Monday, September 9th to submit your entry.
It’s been a gigantic year for Builds here in 2024. I haven’t done the math yet – but I’m sure I will in due time – but this could be the biggest year yet. We definitely want it to be, and that’s where we need your assist.
We accept applications for expansion up-to-date cafes opening anytime in 2024. We are also accepting applications for cafes that are currently under construction and plan to open anytime in 2024. Applications are welcome from anywhere in the world, cities vast and compact, mobile and stationary, and everywhere in between.
It’s been a globetrotting 2024 for Build-Outs of Coffee. Japan, the UK, Turkey, France, Canada, and that’s just the ones we’ve published. We still have a few international posts to accompany our cadre of American articles still waiting to be published.
Applications are now open — consider this an open invitation to participate in the 2024 Build-Outs of Coffee series. This year, we’re looking for:
- Fresh cafes under construction in 2024
- Cafe renovations to be completed in 2024
- Diminutive up-to-date coffee shops built on a zero budget
- Fresh, broad cafés that push the boundaries of café design
- Coffee shops that take sustainability and environmental impact into account
- Coffee shops from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Antarctica (especially Antarctica) are eligible. We also welcome any captivating arrangements from Australia and Fresh Zealand.
But you’ll need to act rapid if you want to be included this year. The deadline for entries is Monday, September 9. Register your coffee shop now to be considered for the 2024 Build-Outs of Coffee.
