As the official launch materials state, the Wally Milk “makes it effortless for anyone to steam milk with zero waste and minimal training”; it can be programmed with up to 20 presets, allowing users to effortlessly switch between types of milk (both dairy and non-dairy), as well as the precise temperatures and desired aeration levels.

Built around the Pro Touch steam wand with an exclusive Vortex steam tip, Wally features an easy-to-use digital display, 24V electronics for reliability and effortless diagnostics, as well as an infrared sensor, proximity sensor and a tilting platform that allows Wally Milk to imitate the tilting movements of a barista. “Wally Milk delivers the highest quality brewed milk,” writes La Marzocco, “leaving the barista to focus on what matters most: the customer.” I personally like that the display panel looks like a little robot.
