You don’t have to go to a coffee shop to enjoy great cold brew coffee. We’ve found that the OXO Good Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker is the best vessel for making smooth, delicious iced coffee at home.
This model brews cold brew coffee with balanced acidity, a stronger aroma, and a cleaner finish than the brews from 20 other coffee machines we tested. What’s more, the OXO Good Grips brewer is the easiest to use and clean.
Our choice

This cold brew coffee maker produced the strongest, most potent brew of all the models we tested. It’s also easier to assemble and use than the competition.
Compared to other cold brew coffee makers, the OXO Good Grips cold brew coffee maker produces a more consistent, flavorful cup of coffee, likely due to the metal mesh filter. It’s easier to set up and clean than other brewers we’ve tested, and allows for thorough emptying with the flip of a switch.
It also looks elegant and has an attractive (yet delicate) glass jug. And since this is a countertop device, appearance matters.
Like all our picks, this machine produces coffee concentrate that must be diluted with water or milk. We found that about 2 ounces of concentrate from each of our types was enough for a full glass of cold brew. So a full 24-28 ounce batch of concentrate from this model will yield approximately 12-14 servings of coffee.
Second place

This well-built brewer makes milder coffee than OXO Good Grips. However, its many parts can be cumbersome to assemble and store.
If you can’t get our top pick, Filtron Cold Water Coffee Concentrate Brewer is a solid option. It’s larger (yields about 32 ounces of concentrate) and almost as easy to use. And it produces coffee that is tasty, but not as strong as OXO coffee.
It also comes with a tall plastic carafe, which is more durable than OXO glass carafes, although it is potentially more difficult to fit in the fridge.
However, the Filtrona felt filter can get moldy if stored improperly. The black plastic infuser is not very attractive, and emptying it into a carafe is a bit precarious. The drainage hole is also sealed with a simple rubber plug, which is a pain to remove and is a bit more prone to leaks than the seal on OXO infusers.
Also great

This compact coffee maker is best for those with limited storage space or those who want to brew smaller batches.
The OXO Compact Cold Brew Coffee Maker is a smaller version of our top pick OXO, making about 16 ounces of concentrate and just as easy to use. The coffee has a stronger and less balanced flavor, but you can always dilute the brew to your own taste.
This coffee machine takes up less counter space than our other types. And it packs in a neat, self-contained package for storage, so it’s a better choice for smaller kitchens.
