Coffee is the best friend of your cells

If you could only choose one part of your body that coffee would employ, what would it be? Maybe it sounds a bit like a puzzle and so it is. So what is the response to coffee?

An elegant answer (or satisfied with yourself, depending on what you feel about puzzles: your cells.

It’s a bit of an exclusion, but it may be true? The fresh study showed that coffee works at the cellular level so that you are longer and healthier.

As reported Learning every dayThe study is the work of scientists from the School of Biological and Behaviral Sciences at Queen Mary University of London and has recently been published in the journal . In it, they examine how caffeine affects cellular function, especially longevity systems.

The same team of scientists in the past has discovered how caffeine helps cells to live longer, affecting the growth regulator called the target of rapamin (TOR), which is “a biological switch that tells cells when to grow, depending on how much food and energy it has been available” and “controls energy reactions and stress in live matters for over 500 million years.”

This latest article is an extension of this work, trying to discover the mechanisms of influence of Caffeine on the track. To this end, they gave caffeine to fission yeast, a single -legged body that acts in a strikingly similar way to human cells, especially a track. They discovered that caffeine does not directly affect the track, but activates another cellular system called AMPK. This is essentially a mobile fuel indicator.

“When your cells have low energy, AMPK enters to support them cope,” says the senior author of the study Dr. Chalampos Rallis. In the yeast, caffeine has helped activate the AMPK switch, which then led to a positive effect on AMPK, how the yeast cells grew, repaired DNA and reacted to stress. They are all associated with how people get elderly and fight the disease.

The influence of caffeine on AMPK works similarly to a common drug diabetes used to extend the life of the individual, and discoveries give scientists hope that they can discover additional natural ways of this. Like drinking coffee.

So drink and make sure you get enough 37 trillion cells to get the taste. He should probably start another pot.
