Coffee building: Blue Ridge Coffee Coffee in Seattle, Wa

Lost in the bushes of antique blog coffee you will find at least one undeniable fact: the SPROGRE media network was founded in the city of Seattle, Washington. And although now elsewhere, we always have a sweet and frail place for coffee bars and coffee culture in the city, which the first blog us. That is why we are excited to check in in a up-to-date cafe at the Blue Ridge district – at the northern end of the city, next to the pretty beaches of Golden Gardens Park. This is Blue Ridge Coffee House.

For those who are not familiar, will you tell us about your company?

Blue Ridge Coffee House This is a family cafe in the Blue Ridge district in Seattle. Our space, built on the website of the original real estate office in the neighborhood, was again imagined as a hospitable place for coffee, connection and community. With care and intention, we serve thoughtful coffee – because we think that the best coffee combines people.

Can you tell us about a up-to-date space?

The up-to-date Blue Ridge cafe is more than a cafe – it is a place gathered with love in the bone of the building from 1932, which once served as a local real estate office. This space located in the heart of the Blue Ridge district in Seattle has been revived to reflect the nature and charm of the community it serves. We worked with local designers, architects and contractors to inhale a up-to-date life in the original structure, re -using original materials as far as possible and honoring the roots of the building, while making it unthreatening, functional and pretty.

Inside you will find a cozy interior that seems to be the intersection of your favorite neighborhood cafe and a warm living room. The system encourages to connect – between families, neighbors and longtime friends. With the intention we built every detail, from furniture inspired by vintage and finishes, which seem timeless, but accessible. Right at the street there is a community swimming pool, local parks and baseball fields, which makes us a natural stop for families and neighbors throughout the day. With a bus stop on the corner and constant pedestrian traffic, it is an ideal place for release, sipping something wonderful and staying for a moment.

What is your coffee approach?

Our approach to coffee is rooted in simplicity, quality and community. We think that great coffee should feel both unique and familiar – something that you are waiting for every day and something that connects people. That’s why we worked True North Coffee RoastersLocal smoking room, whose integrity and values match ours.

Real northern sources from compact, family farms, often working with the same producers from year to year. Their green coffee curator has long -term relationships with farmers and processing mills, enabling full identification from harvesting to Seattle and Oakland ports. More importantly, they pay much above the sincere commercial price-reference to direct acquisition based on the quality of the cup and long-term relations, not the labels of other companies. This is a well thought -out, the first approach that causes coffee, which we are really proud of service.

Regardless of whether it is a classic drip, creamy latte made of oat milk, or your first immersion in espresso with a single origin, we are here to make sure that every cup is intentional, hospitable and deeply delicious.

Any machines, coffee, special equipment set up?

We acquire all our equipment through La Marzocco, which seems to be a full moment because they are based here in Seattle. Their craftsmanship, design and reliability are incomparable – and as a neighborhood store with deep love for this city, a lot means to cooperate with a company rooted in our own yard.

We will employ Marzocco PB line Espresso machine combined with a full apartment To Mahlkön grinders to ensure consistency and quality in every shot. We are also excited about the cool brew and patented system and patented by the True North Coffee Roasters.

From the first day, our goal was to create a flow of bar, which serves both the ease of barista and the client’s connection – instancjatically designed, beautifully functional and built to last.

How does your project consider sustainable development?

Sustainable development consists of making thoughtful, lasting choices – both in the way of building and acting. Although we were originally hoping to preserve and re -use a significant structure from 1932, we finally found that it was too deterioration to remain intact safely. Despite this, as far as possible, we carefully saved garden materials, woodwork and details of the characters-who are now carefully integrated with up-to-date space.

We obtain high quality, strong equipment designed for the duration and selection of materials and finishes, which will persist over time. On the coffee side, our resistance, True North, is deeply involved in ethical acquisition, paying much above the prices of fair trade and building long -term relationships with farmers, which supports a more balanced and fair coffee supply chain.

In our daily operations, we will employ one -off cups for recycling and make deliberate choices to reduce unnecessary waste where we can. Although we cannot check every “green” box, we focus on building something that respects the past, remembering our influence and designed to serve our area for decades.

What is your hope for the opening date/month?

At the end of August – at the beginning of September 2025

Our architect is Workshop 315Our designer is Hyrel mathias interiorsOur contractor is ORR Restoration & Reboat, our landscape designer and constructor Sage and stoneOur branding creator is Hannah Phillips Studio, And we also work with Laila Ghambari to consultation services.
