There is movement in the world of coffee: national barista champions from around the world are coming to Milan for the World Barista Championships at HOST Milano and Out of the Box La Marzocco. Who will become the 2025 Barista World Champion? Only time will tell! In the meantime, here’s another trailer for the Coffee Sprudgecast episode.
There’s a lot said in this episode, but the real meat is in the macchiato. Espresso macchiato? Latte Macchiato? Caramel Macchiato? “Customary” macchiato? What is real macchiato anyway? After explaining macchiato at a Portland cafe, host Jordan Michelman had questions.
Fresh coffee is available in every fresh episode. With another suggestion of fresh coffee from Roaster’s Village, the hosts drink Bay Area’s Equator Coffees Limited Kona Monarch Washed Pacamara. The coffee was brewed and tasted using the coffee equipment we test on the test bench at Sprudge’s headquarters: the coffee was freshly ground using Fearless Sculptor 078S and brewed using a Miir Pourigami travel coffee dripper. Was partnering with Miir to provide a 25% discount on Miir products using the promotional code SPRUDGE25.
The hosts (the “large ship guys”) enjoyed coffee at 2-WayCup from Slow pouring: :
Introducing the award-winning, newly improved 2-WayCup, crafted with precision and attention to perfection.
