Ceado is a qualified coffee grinder sponsor for the 2026–2027 World Barista Championship

Venice, Italy – January 2025Ceadoa leading Italian manufacturer of professional coffee equipment, has become a Qualified Sponsor of the Espresso Grinder for 2026-2027 World Barista Championship. Throughout the two-year period, Ceado will support riders on the world stage with two of its flagship grinders: REV Zero and E37Z-Naked.

By offering competitors the choice between two retention-minimizing grinders and different grinding technologies, Ceado gives baristas greater control over extraction method and aromatic expression. Both grinders are designed around the same core principles of precision, reliability and consistency, while offering different technical solutions to support a variety of brewing styles and sensory goals.

REV Zero is a professional on-demand grinder designed to eliminate retention between shots with reverse grinding technology and a modular architecture. Designed for workflow efficiency and repeatable performance, it features 83mm flat K110 steel burrs with a Red Speed coating and a patented Sweep-Out system that enables direct dispensing with minimal waste and high consistency in competitive environments.

The E37Z-Naked is a single dose Ceado grinder designed for maximum control and flexibility. It has 83 mm diameter flat burrs with a DLC coating and a different grinding geometry designed for flavor profiling and experimentation. The grinder is equipped with Steady Lock Grinder technology, which maintains burr alignment and uniform granulometry, while the Quick Set Gear system allows for quick and precise adjustment of grind size.

This two-grinder approach reflects Ceado’s belief that there is no single correct way to extract coffee to the highest standard. Instead, competitors are given tools that allow them to design, refine and express their own aromatic vision while meeting the demanding standards required on the WBC stage.

For Ceado, supporting the World Barista Championship is a natural extension of the Taste Design philosophy. Coffee takes an extraordinary journey before it reaches the grinder, a journey shaped by expertise and valuable natural resources.

“The best way to honor this journey is to provide the highest quality equipment and education in its utilize so that baristas can truly design, express and elevate the aromatic profile of this unique raw material,” says Michele Girardi, CEO of Ceado.

“We are proud to support WBC with our REV Zero and E37Z-Naked grinders and contribute to a community that celebrates precision craftsmanship and respect for coffee.”

For the 2026-2027 competition cycle, Ceado grinders will serve as standardized equipment, ensuring consistency and fairness for all competitors, while highlighting the critical role of grinder technology in shaping taste outcomes on the global stage.

By participating in the World Barista Championship, Ceado reinforces its long-term commitment to innovation and the continuous development of the specialty coffee industry, supporting baristas with tools designed not only for efficiency, but also to respect the value contained in each coffee bean.
