Applications are being accepted for further versions of coffee in 2026

We are growing! Let’s open a cafe. Heck, let’s build your coffee shop and showcase it here on Sprudge.

Applications for the Build-Outs of Coffee 2026 season are now open. This feature series is an annual tradition at Sprudge, featuring recent cafes recently opened or under construction around the world. Over the past 17 years, thousands of coffee shops have participated in the series (take a look at the 2025 edition here), and inclusion has become something of a rite of passage for coffee entrepreneurs around the world.

The entries are there now openand the series will begin the last week of May, after Memorial Day weekend. Through September, we’ll be sharing recent compilations from around the world, featuring recent Sprudge cafes every week.

We are accepting construction applications for this year’s series recent cafes opening anytime in 2026. We are also accepting applications for cafes currently under construction and scheduled to open anytime in 2026. Applications are welcome from anywhere in the world, cities vast and tiny, mobile and stationary, and everything in between.
