For those who are not familiar, will you tell us about your company?
Eventide Coffee is a special coffee brand that is working on obtaining coffee directly from farmers in an ethical way and shares history with people with the highest transparency. We are in the pursuit of doing everything from scratch – from our cakes, syrups to homemade pasta. We used it as a straightforward way of ecological marketing, sharing all our construction process in the “Cafe from scratch” series on our Instagram page @Eventidecoffee
While the specialist coffee market is growing rapidly in India, the inhabitants of Chennai are rooted in our own coffee (coffee with the South Indian filter). Although there is one part of the newborn crowd of Chennai, intrigued for specialist coffee, our mission from Eventide is more affordable for newer coffee enthusiasts and aid them see the world of coffee in its true lithe. I also have a coffee page @melowshot On Instagram, which divides the same mission of falling in love with people in special coffee.
Can you tell us about a up-to-date space?
Our space has a lot of inspiration with a very minimal Japanese style. We also took care of the spatial brand of our brand of the event – a time of the evening sunset, in which we play with elements of natural lithe through a skylight and a completely see-through glass facade. It is built with the intention of providing people with peace. Our cafe is also planned in a way to have high ceilings, broad seats and great space for cooperation/community in which people can join and be part of a great coffee community.
What is your coffee approach?
Our approach to coffee is to be so see-through, balanced and at the same time be available to customers. We find a way to maintain uncomplicated and straightforward people for people who are not accustomed to special coffee, while making sure that we do things in the right way, giving people who are interested in more details, such as identifying coffee and much more.


Any machines, coffee, special equipment set up?
We focus on maintaining miniature things to start with. We have Micra Marzocco line ia Decent espressoFirefight meter, difficult tank icy brew and three different grinders: Foil Espresso for our home, Bentwood vertical 63 For our single dosage of our manual infusions and espressos and a retail grinder. We also bake contracts, so we have Nuclear link The smoking room was supposed to tilt the coffee before we get it.
How does your project consider sustainable development?
We find ways to integrate the Waste Coffee Puck in our kitchen, creating pralines, and also working with a sustainable local brand of Ayurvedic skin care to aid us build exfoliated washing of coffee waste to sell in our merch, and keep it in our areas of cafe washing.
What is your hope for the opening date/month?
We plan to open until the end of July 2025.
Do you work with craftsmen, architects and/or creators you would like to mention?
We work with a vast architectural studio called Billboardswhich he helped in the entire project, both in architectural designs and our brand. Another person we love is a potter named Komala Harik, who runs very deliberate and passionate ceramics Hana Studios. Which helped us design lovely cups with excellent curves to keep up with learning to raise aroma and taste in our cups
