Drinking coffee protects against head and neck cancer

This is the Wu-Tang clan, which once warned that “it is best to protect Ya Neck.” And it took us only a little over 30 years to find out what they are about – although the cream should be a dead gift – that drinking coffee can protect you against head and neck cancer (HNC).

Published in the journal The study was conducted by an international team of scientists who examined the “collective analysis of 9548 HNC cases and 15,783 inspections from 14 research at an individual level at the level of cases … conducted from the international consortium of epidemiology of head and neck cancer.” Members of both HNC and Non HNC were asked about their daily habits related to the consumption of coffee and tea, including whether the drinks were caffeine with disturb.

After taking into account such things as age, diet, alcohol consumption and smoking, scientists found that those who regularly drank more than four cups of caffeine coffee per day were associated with a 17% decrease in the development of any head and neck cancer compared to drinking non-koffs. The protective benefit was most noticeable in cancers associated with the oral cavity and mouth, the throat part just behind the lips. Meanwhile, coffee in freezed did not have the same overall benefit, but still shows signs of protection against oral cancer.

Their tea arrangements were more mixed. One cup of tea a day was associated with a 9% decrease in the case of HNC, but more than one cup was associated with a 38% enhance in larynx cancer.

On Times of IndiaHNC is one of the most common forms of cancer around the world, and in the UK itself, it accounts for over 12,000 fresh cases per year, as well as over 4,000 deaths. Thus, all preventive measures that can be taken would be a boon for their health, especially if they are as ubiquitous as drinking coffee. Despite this, the examination is only observational and further tests are required to determine the causal compound, including engaging the results of various types of coffee and tea (the current study was different between caffeine and non -formed). But this is another study to add to the pile of assembly that coffee concerns the healthiest thing you can put in your body.
