Friends and family ask us where to buy coffee. This is a tough question! It’s simple to lose track of the amount of amazing, fresh and dynamic coffees. Every week we ask our advertising partners to recommend the coffees they like best. Here’s a collection of the most engaging whole bean coffees available this week from talented roasters around the world.

Kenya Elshadai Estate Natural

Discovered by Kenyan coffee specialist Judy Murimi, the coffee underwent approximately two days of anaerobic fermentation and then was dried on raised beds. With its layered sweetness and exquisite fruit complexity, it offers a fascinating profile while paying homage to the disappearing coffee landscape.

Yessica and Diego Parra Natural Thermal Shock Bourbon Sidra

As fourth-generation coffee producers, Yessica and Diego have transformed what was initially a source of income into a hub of innovation and creativity. For this batch, ripe cherries were floated and then left in open tanks for 24 hours. Thermal shock is a method of alternating sizzling and chilly water during fermentation, which causes controlled stress on the grains. This allows for greater sugar absorption and sweetness intensity.
