LA Coffee Fest Kick-Off Party promises to be an evening of music, food, drinks, giveaways and a latte art competition with massive cash prizes.

The event will take place at the DTLA Arts District on Saturday, August 24. Califia Farms invites all in-town and out-of-town guests to unwind and get ready for the warm weekend. DJ Anthony Valadez will be there to set the mood as people mingle and partake in drinks and petite bites provided by Califia. The main attraction of the evening is of course the latte art throwdown competition. The head-to-head bracket-style tournament will pit latte artists from across the country against each other for a chance to win some sedate cash. Third place will receive $250, second place $500. And for the winner, how does $1,000 sound? Sounds good. Not a bad way to start the weekend.
