Madcap Coffee announces its newest coffee shop location in Ferndale, Michigan

Madcap coffee company announced that it is planning its newest coffee shop, scheduled to open in 2026, in Ferndale, Michigan. The café will be located on the lower level of the Ferndalehaus Loft building at 430 W Nine Mile Rd. This will be the fourth Madcap Coffee location and the second coffee shop located in Detroit
area.

Madcap Coffee Company Founder, Trevor Corlet, comments: “We are excited to open a second location on the East Side and continue to redefine what high-end coffee and hospitality can be. News of the coffee shop’s location in Ferndale comes shortly after the company announced the sale of its Leland, Michigan coffee shop to Hive Coffee Company. The café, located at 106 N Main St, will reopen in November as Little Boat Coffee and will offer guests Madcap Coffee and Dito Coffee Beans. Work on the Ferndale café location begins in overdue November. When completed, the facility will be 1,800 square feet. The space will include a rentable multimedia room, stadium-style seating and a ample bar where guests will be able to enjoy coffee while sitting.
