McGettigan and Gilbert are among the artists who can be seen at DubHub, where a coffee shop and open mic will be held on June 15 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The monthly sponsor provides coffee, and sweet and savory snacks are available. Attendees are welcome to bring their own beverages. The special performance lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes, and there are open mic slots available before and after the show.
Singer-songwriter Suzanne McGettigan, originally from Recent Hampshire, writes songs about love and life with a touch of humor. Her song “A Place in the Woods” was recorded by Canadian artist Lucie Blue Tremblay on her album Transformations. Based north of Boston, guitarist Larry Gilbert is a Recent England fixture, known for combining guitar techniques with interpretations in a variety of genres. Together, they create original songs and add their own touches to covers.
