The path to have a cafe is full of passion, purpose – and definitely too often loneliness. This is changing this summer. Futures Coffee fund (CFF), a up-to-date initiative dedicated to the early stage of the owners of a specialist cafe, officially launched on Specialty Coffee Expo 2025 in Houston, Texas.
CFF provides capital and year -round mentoring to choose 10 owners of a cafe in Kohort Summer 2025. This is a platform built around one basic belief: coffee owners deserve something more than capital – they deserve community, mentoring and tools for building lasting companies.
“We are not just a fund. We are a village,” says Akshat, founder of Futures Coffee Fund. “CFF was born from a straightforward insight: too many promising founders never have the opportunity to build what they imagine – not because of the lack of passion, but because the ecosystem has not been designed with them in mind. We change it.”
“Capital is a commodity. Experience is not.”
CFF stands out on the basis of conventional sources of financing by determining the unique needs of coffee owners during the first 1-3 years of work. The fund aims to invest in a petite, carefully selected cohort of American cafe owners, ensuring that each participant receives personalized attention and resources necessary to implement his vision. The Mentor Council began to review the conclusions and invites rising owners to submit an application sooner than later.
What distinguishes CFF?
- It’s not just money. CFF offers funds without taking capital, places on board or fees for charging fees for entry.
- It’s not just mentoring. The founders receive deep, practical tips from experienced operators who have built one of the most respected companies with many units in the USA
- It’s not just a theory. In the over 10-week program, participants are involved in practical sessions focusing on operations, branding, leadership and immunity.
“Your team has just expanded”
At CFF, an experienced mentor council consists of coffee owners who are successful who understand industry complexities. Participants can expect cooperation with mentors with over 100 years of experience in building successful coffee brands with many individuals, providing insights from first-hand experience.
Trevor Corlett, a mentor of the founder at Coffee Futures Futures, says: “This is more than just an investment. True value comes to financial support, i.e. then 100 years of experience from people who were on your path and were on the road and can speak to true development opportunities and setting a course on how success looks long.”
In addition, Julie Housh, running the CFF program, says: “We create this community in which people feel less lonely, where they feel supported, where they feel as if they can cultivate their coffee companies.”
