Coffee shoes generally come in one of two modes. There are coffee-themed shoes that import coffee colors and fun caffeine accents. The Nike Coffee Pack — the brown and cream colorways of its Daybreak silhouettes, Air Max 97, and Air Force 1 Low — might be the best example yet (though the real answer for coffee-savvy professionals might be the jute- and GrainPro-inspired Adidas ZX shoes designed by Deadstock Coffee’s Ian Williams). Then there are shoes that are actually made of coffee, like the Rens Nomad.
But this dichotomy begs the question: why can’t there be both? Fortunately, there is XpreSole. The longtime coffee grounds footwear maker is back with a few fresh silhouettes, and one of them features a coffee cherry pattern. And that’s now available on Kickstarter.
We’ve been following XpreSole for a few years now, from their first drop in 2021 with the Panto shoe to… whatever that is… to now, as the brand transitions to a more casual design. The low-top street sneakers have a classic Vans-style look, the Connie and Cody reminiscent of the True and Slip On, respectively.
But the real show-stopper among the 16 fresh options (including a few fresh Panto colorways) are the Connie sneakers in White Flowers. The sneakers feature a white and yellow-coffee-cherry upper. Like you, they’re coffee inside and out.
Like all XpresSole shoes, the latest models are vegan and made from recycled coffee grounds, making them lightweight, breathable, waterproof, stain- and odor-free.
With over a week left in the campaign, the XpreSole Kickstarter has raised over $24,000, far surpassing its $3,000 goal. But there are still rewards and massive discounts to be had. Potential backers can get a pair of Connie sneakers in White Flowers for just $79, 30% off the MSRP. Of course, there are discounts on the entire fresh line of Connie, Cody, and Panto shoes if you want them, but why bother when the coffee florals are right there?
