Of all the unnecessary holidays vying for space on the calendar, and there are many – National Steal a Neighbor’s Porch Zucchini Day (August 8), Snowplow Mailbox Hockey Day (January 23), National Ding-A-Ling Day (December 12), just to name a few – Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is easily the best. First, it involves ice cream. Secondly, it requires eating it for breakfast. And third, did I mention ice cream?
There is one more breakfast product that cannot be forgotten, and that is coffee. Fortunately, as affogato has taught us, coffee and ice cream are a match made in heaven.
