The 17 Best Coffee Makers of 2024 to Facilitate You Get Through the Day

The Breville Precision Brewer Thermal in brushed stainless steel is another high-quality programmable coffee maker that makes a great cup of joe. It’s a great choice for one of the best drip coffee makers. The 60-ounce coffee maker has two brewing baskets: one is wide and flat-bottomed (for larger amounts of coffee) and the other is smaller and cone-shaped (for smaller amounts). While the water reservoir isn’t removable, it’s surprisingly wide, eliminating the risk of spilling water all over the place, something some of us tend to do when we’re distracted. Another nice touch is that the reservoir measures water in both ounces and cups, and it also has linear indicators for cup, half-carafe, and full-carafe. I usually brew between 16 and 20 ounces, and when it’s under 20 ounces, the Breville Precision Brewer is intuitive enough to notice and then automatically adjust the brewing settings to deliver a sturdy flavor.

The coffee maker has straightforward features: one knob, one start and cancel button, and an LCD screen. There are several brewing settings to choose from: Quick, Golden, Robust, Ice, Frigid and My Brew. Using the My Brew setting, coffee can be customized by bloom time (30 to 60 seconds), brew temperature (197 to 204 degrees is recommended), and flow rate (leisurely, medium, quick). Once the brew cycle is complete, the clock displays the time since brewing.

Pros:

  • Multiple brewing options, including ice and cool brewing
  • Double filter baskets
  • Thermal carafe
  • SCA certified brewery

Cons:

  • The water tank is not removable

De’Longhi Magnifica coffee and espresso machine

  • Dimensions: 9.44″ x 14.17″ x 17.32″
  • Brewing capacity: 8oz/60oz water tank
  • Descaling indicator: Yes
  • Programmable: Yes

If you want to improve your barista skills, impress your friends and family, and spend less time at the coffee shop, consider the De’Longhi Magnifica Evo coffee and espresso machine. Not only does it make delicious coffee, but this high-quality machine can also make espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, iced coffee, and personalized lattes. The machine can also dispense scorching water for scorching chocolate and tea. The LatteCrema System technology uses a hand frother to create textured art, and the frother can be used with regular milk and alternative milks.

Additionally, the coffee and espresso maker has a conical burr grinder with 13 settings, but you can omit it to utilize the ground coffee to brew coffee in a pot or cup instead. Even though the programmable coffee and espresso maker has many features, using it was a breeze. This is thanks to the colorful touch icons on the top of the coffee machine.
