(KSWB) — A popular chain of drive-thru coffee shops that recently planted roots in San Diego County is already looking to expand, adding a fresh location in the area early next year and planning for more.
Last year, Dutch Bros Coffee opened its first two locations in San Diego County – one in Oceanside (1700 Oceanside Blvd) and one in Escondido (2365 E Valley Pkwy).
Now they have announced plans to open a fresh location in Vista in early 2024, with early plans to open additional locations in Chula Vista and Escondido, a company spokesperson confirmed to FOX 5. The fresh location at 2665 S Melrose Dr. in Vista it is listed Dutch Bros. website as “opening soon”.
Oceanside is the most successful store of all Dutch Bros locations in 11 states – the San Diego Union-Tribune reported this month.
Dutch Bros Coffee is a chain of drive-thru coffee shops that started in Oregon in the early 90s. There is no indoor seating, just a drive-thru/walk-up storefront. Their menu also doesn’t feature established black coffee, and the closest you’ll get is an Americano with espresso and water.
For those who can’t wait for vacation just because of seasonal drinks, you are lucky. Dutch Bros offers a variety of seasonal drinksincluding Merry Mischief Rebel (supple top with strawberries, red raspberries and green apple), Snow Cap Freeze (cupcake, supple top and holiday sprinkles) and Candy Cane Frigid Brew (mint mocha with supple top and mint sprinkles), among others.
Some of them classic drinks include vanilla and caramel (Golden Eagle), Irish cream (Kicker and 911), coconut (Cocomo), and chocolate with macadamia nuts (Annihilator).
The coffee chain also offers branded energy drinks like Aftershock (strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and lime), Shark Attack (blue raspberry, coconut and lime with a touch of pomegranate), flavored lemonadesand even carbonated drinks with the addition of flavors of your choice.
Still not your cup of tea? Grab one of their signature sodas in a variety of flavors, like the OG Gummybear (pomegranate, passion fruit, watermelon, grapefruit) or the Dinosaur Egg (blue raspberry with strawberry, white chocolate, and almond icing).
And you can’t forget about their other drinks, such as Chai, cocktails, Dutch cocoa, tea, cold brew, Dutch frosttheir Children’s menu and some food delicacies also to choose from.
With this in mind, Dutch Bros is adding even more menu items to its line-up. Drum Roll… Celebrate the fresh year with a shot of sparkle that will add sparkle to your drink.
