In a diminutive shopping center is the Tarte Tatin coffee shop and pastry shop. Grab a table outside where you can grab a coffee and a diminutive meal and pastries with friends. They have some of the best pastries in Beverly Hills. A coffee costs about $3 and they have a selection of cappuccinos, espressos, americanos, lattes, organic coffees and iced drinks.

The popular and long-standing Venice Grind Coffee Shop in the Mar Vista neighborhood near Venice Beach. Locals attest to the great coffee and casual, affable environment. Offering coffees from Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, and their own blend, you’re sure to find a flavorful drip that’s perfect for your palate. This shop cares so much about its coffee and its regular customers that it offers tutorials on different ways to brew coffee. Coffee Connection offers certified organic, fair trade coffee and over 20 varieties of coffee. Located in the former space of the notable Italian restaurant Bruno’s Café. Lovely interior with stained glass windows, original Baroque architecture, a wall with a fountain and high ceilings. It is a great place for a romantic cup of coffee. There is plenty of space for diminutive groups and for college students who want to study with friends. Meeting rooms are also available. Coffee Connection hosts evening music performances. Get 10 cents off your coffee by bringing your own cup.

Joni’s Coffee is almost a landmark in Marina Del Rey. Close to the beach, many regulars come here every morning to grab breakfast and coffee and tea. Joni’s offers a full breakfast and lunch. Omelettes are stuffed, and salad choices are plentiful. Fresh fruit juice blends are fit, and soups are homemade. The coffee shop even offers 100% Kona coffee by the cup. Seating is indoors or outdoors. This place is also a great place to socialize and meet up-to-date friends. Come early, because it closes after lunch.
