Sipping coffee and ripping coffee liqueurs on the Coffee Sprudgecast

It’s almost November – this podcast needs a drink! At the top of the latest episode, we take a generous sip New coffee liqueur from State Line Distillery with coffee from Madison, Kin-Kin Coffee in Wisconsin. Reaction?

“”

“Oh?”

“”

This is not the end of the unique taste experiences – the hosts are Jordan Michelman and Zachary Carlsen Ceado Hoop Brew special offer from Deadstock Coffee and Portland, Oregon’s famous Kann Haitian restaurant.

At the end, the hosts taste the constrained version of Colombia Chiroso by Partners Coffee – a handsome cup that will accompany them throughout the episode.

Chiroso is a mysterious variety specific to Antioquia, Colombia. Once thought to be a local mutation of the Caturry, it is now believed to be more closely related to Ethiopian breeds. This is the fifth year I’ve been purchasing chiroso from Aidé Garro, and hers is a handsome reflection of its amazing flavor profile – think watermelon and Jolly Rancher cherry, mango, lime, jasmine and elderflower. Truly stunning.
