It’s that time again: magical time, holiday time, time for breaking bread and cracking crust as we browse and guess the best holiday coffees in the pantheon of specialty roasteries.
We’ve long celebrated the cultural concept of holiday coffee at Sprudge, but last year we upped the ante by launching a novel holiday cuppa tradition with Coffee Sprudgecast, our popular bi-weekly try-curious (because we try a lot of things) podcast show. Last year we drank 17 (!) Christmas coffees and this year we think we can beat that and even more, but we need your support.
Please send us your holiday coffees for 2025! The more puns, the better. They may concern specific holidays – Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa – or they may be non-denominational or focused on a more pagan cult of the change of seasons. It is one of the greatest and most distinctive traditions in the entire coffee world and something that firmly establishes specialty coffee as a culinary and seasonal delight. Last year’s list was amazing and we’d love to have your coffee business represented in this year’s lineup.
Here’s what we got in 2024:
