Poma Coffee Presents Circumscribed Holiday 2025 Release in Collaboration with Sluggish Pour Supply

POMA COFFEE is proud to announce a unique 2025 holiday partnership with the company SLOW POURING: an exclusive, narrow edition, including six unique Gesha coffees from iconic sources around the world. This is the second collaboration between SLOW POUR SUPPLY and POMA COFFEE. This year’s collection showcases both cutting-edge processing innovations and uncompromising expression of terroir, presented in a deliberately crafted package designed for the most discerning coffee enthusiasts.

This year’s holiday package will be available in two selected options:

Option 1: POMA coffee box
• Six Gesha coffees (60 g each, 360 g total)
• POMA Special Formula Tonic 20ml (Formula with Tonic [1] + Lilac [3]developed in cooperation with Apax Lab)

Option 2: Complete set of experiments
• Everything in Option 1 plus:
– ORIGAMI Rework Dripper S
– ORIGAMI Special holder for Sakura wood
– ORIGAMI filters

A global journey through six expressions of Gesha

The 2025 release combines six Gesha coffees in 60 gram bags: washed, natural and the pioneering POMA Frigid Washed process, selected exclusively for this project. From the volcanic slopes of Costa Rica to the historic forests of Ethiopia, each coffee showcases the inherent beauty, purity and aromatic depth of the Gesha variety.

This collection also features groundbreaking coffee from a research plot managed by POMA in Embu, Kenya, where she is the founder Rasmus Madsen conducts research on shade management, soil health and regenerative agriculture. The Kenya plot serves as a proof of concept for POMA’s ongoing agricultural innovation efforts.

Innovation in focus: frosty cleaning process

With its signature, POMA speeds up coffee processing Frigid washing processcreated to preserve the purest characteristics of the variety while avoiding changes related to fermentation.

Frigid washing process:
• Chilling cherries for 48 hours at 8°C for the intensification of aromatic precursors
• Low temperature washing to protect volatile flavor compounds
• Controlled drying in pressure drum dryer for exact consistency

By minimizing microbial activity and oxidation, this technique highlights the properties of the coffee genetically determined tastesAs a result of this process, a cup is created that is tidy, crisp, sweet and very expressive, with an increased content of fruit esters and a floral terpene structure.

Six coffees

  1. Costa Rica – Blue Volcano – Frigid washed geisha
    Expect increased varietal purity with flavors jasmine, elderflower and peachcarried by a coating mouthfeel and a long, sweet finish.
  2. Panama – Finca Nuguo – Washed Geisha
    Exquisite aromas jasmine and white teadeveloping in yellow peach, apricot and Meyer lemonwith a refined, honey aftertaste.
  3. Colombia – Gardens of Eden – Natural Geisha
    Glowing flowers jasmine and orange blossom hand in hand with strawberry, peach, mango and passion fruitsupported by juicy, vinous acidity.
  4. Ethiopia – Gesh Village – Natural Geisha
    Aroma intensity jasmine and bergamotopening up nectarine, mango, passion fruitand a hint of strawberries, with a silky texture and transparency.
  5. Kenya – POMA Research Field – Washed Geisha
    Milestone z jasmine, lemon verbena, white peach, nectarine and grapefruitlifted with a subtle note of blackcurrant – a nod to the Kenyan terroir.
  6. Colombia – Las Brisas – Washed Geisha
    Glowing flowers jasmine and orange blossomlayered white tea, yellow peach and apricotending with distinct acidity and impeccable sweetness.

Circumscribed Christmas 2025 edition for collectors and connoisseurs

Created for those seeking sporadic coffees and significant agricultural innovations, this holiday edition embodies POMA COFFEE’s mission of elevating terroir, technique and sensory excellence and purposefully selected SLOW POUR SUPPLY coffee brewing products.
